1977 Mercury Cougar

All original 1977 Mercury Cougar 4 door Automatic with only 77K original miles! After acquiring this super clean Mercury, we had the carburetor rebuilt but made the mistake of starting it up without installing new filters first. So, the carburetor got clogged again. Dammit! It ran beautifully for about 25 seconds. I don't have time or desire to get it rebuilt again. So, my loss is your gain. Selling for $2800. The Cougar doesn't stay on without continued revving, so it should be towed. The only negative besides the carburetor is rust on the front bumper. There is no rust on the undercarriage. Just the front bumper. Replacement bumper on ebay for $335. Once its running properly, this will make a great 6 seater vehicle for a family that needs something inexpensive and not an SUV.
